thomas kane
Thomas Kane serves as the Chair of the Board of Directors at Wind Youth Services. Currently, he holds the position of Senior Vice President and Director of Marketing, Digital, and Product Management at Tri Counties Bank, situated in Roseville, California. Tri Counties Bank, a prominent Northern California community bank, boasts assets totaling $9.9 billion and operates approximately 80 branches and loan offices across the state. Before his tenure at Tri Counties Bank, Mr. Kane held various roles in product management and marketing at Brink’s, Inc. He holds an MBA from the Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University (SMU) in Dallas, and a BA in Communication Arts and English from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Liz Stein
Elizabeth Stein joins the Wind Board following a distinguished career spanning over 30 years as an attorney for the State of California, notably serving at the California Department of Education. A lifelong resident of Northern California, she has proudly called Sacramento her home since 1990. Elizabeth's commitment to serving vulnerable populations extends beyond her professional life, as evidenced by her previous role as a Court Appointed Special Advocate for foster youth and her volunteer work with various social service organizations. During her leisure time, Elizabeth enjoys traveling with her husband Deon, particularly to visit her adult children and grandchildren, as well as staying active by working out and walking her dogs Shadow and Mocha.

Patti Alverson
Drawing from a diverse background in education, Patti Alverson possesses a wealth of experience ranging from teaching and managing hands-on science labs to coordinating STEM competitions and science fairs. With a longstanding dedication to supporting youth and aiding them in realizing their full potential, she is a natural fit for the Wind board. Recently retiring from the California Department of Education, Patti’s passion for education and her commitment to assisting homeless youth remain steadfast.

Cameron Rappleye
Surrounded by a familial legacy of entrepreneurship, Cameron's upbringing within his grandfather's flooring business and his father's commercial lending career instilled in him a profound understanding of California's business landscape. Hailing from Sacramento, he pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Marketing from California State University, Sacramento, while also honing his skills as a golfer on the Sacramento State Golf Team. Despite his initial aspirations in golf, Cameron transitioned to the insurance sector, driven by his desire to assist clients in securing their financial futures while navigating the complexities of business ownership. Now, as a key player at InterWest, he specializes in crafting tailored insurance solutions for clients across various industries, fostering clarity, control, and competitive pricing to support their growth and success.

Linzy davenport
Linzy Davenport, RN, serves as the Chief Operating Officer for Kaiser Permanente Sacramento Medical Center, overseeing a 287-bed hospital with a 52-bed Emergency Department, which caters to over 341,177 Kaiser Permanente members. As a prominent healthcare provider in the Greater Sacramento region, Kaiser Permanente insures one-third of the population, boasting a workforce of over 14,000 employees and nearly 1,900 physicians. With a career spanning various leadership roles within Kaiser Permanente since 2011, Linzy's expertise in healthcare management and quality improvement has been recognized through numerous accolades, including prestigious fellowships and awards.

MolLie Murphy
Mollie was known as an unabashed extrovert and compassionate people person who valued deep connections. Mollie's academic, professional, and volunteer pursuits were all driven by her belief in the inherent worth of every individual and her passion for children and families. From her advocacy work with STAND Anti-Genocide Coalition to her efforts as a Family Services Coordinator for immigrant and refugee families, Mollie dedicated herself to improving the lives of others. As an attorney and board member for Wind Youth Services, she continued her advocacy, striving to create safe spaces for homeless and foster youth. Mollie's legacy of kindness, advocacy, and service lives on in the hearts of those she touched, including her husband Craig and daughter Addilyn.
