Miren Hower brings a wealth of business experience and a deep commitment to serving marginalized populations to Wind Youth Services. With a diverse professional background spanning small business ownership, successful ventures in real estate, as well as a former role as a children's ski instructor, Miren's journey reflects versatility and dedication to excellence. From thriving as a small business owner to leading as a program director of a hunger relief program, Miren's true passion lies in advocating for those experiencing homelessness, driving her dedication to supporting individuals and families in need and championing solutions to address homelessness in communities.
Shelter Program Manager
Lornetta brown
Lornetta Brown serves as the Shelter Program Manager at Wind Youth Services, bringing six years of dedicated service to the organization following a decade-long tenure at Goodwill. With a Bachelor of Arts degree in Human Services specializing in Family and Children from the University of Phoenix, she is passionate about engaging with and supporting the youth under her care. She takes pride in her management approach, embodying a strong leadership style characterized by leading by example, guided by her motto, "I will never ask you to do anything that I wouldn't do!"

Angela Beata, serves as Human Resources Manager, boasting over a decade of diverse experience spanning various industries and geographical locations. Her extensive work with non-profit clients as a Human Resources Consultant revealed a deep passion for serving marginalized populations, especially those impacted by human trafficking and homelessness, aligning perfectly with her degree in Business Administration from DePaul University and her PHRca certification, as she remains dedicated to supporting Wind's mission of making a meaningful difference in the community.
Drop-in Center Manager
Carmella Tate
Carmella Tate serves as the Housing Program Manager at Wind Youth Services, where she has been employed for three years. With support from her colleagues and inspirational role models, she transitioned into a management role, driven by her passion to empower and motivate the youth towards independence. Holding a certification as a Medical Assistant from Intercoast College, she sets an example for her colleagues to emulate while striving to fulfill her mission as a manager.
Data and Compliance Manager
Lauren Anderson
Lauren Anderson, a native of Sacramento, fulfills the role of Data and Compliance Manager, bringing three years of valuable experience to her position. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Organizational Communication and an Associate's degree in Human Services from Sacramento State University. A devoted advocate for recovery and fostering positive change in youth, she is deeply passionate about her work with data and numbers, channeling her dedication into ensuring compliance and accuracy within her responsibilities. Additionally, as a lover of dogs, she finds joy in her personal and professional pursuits alike.
